Good-bye CS graduates

The Spring semester is over, and our department graduated 9 students. Not everyone made it into the photo below, but most are there. This was once again a very talented group of students, and they'll be missed. Thankfully they are entering a good economy with good job prospects, and most of them have already accepted a job.

    What's wrong with this picture? Ours at Southwestern would have a similar composition -- only 6 students, though. Let's resolve to fix it. If 50% of the population were included there would be twice as many!

    That's an excellent goal! Unfortunately I had zero females in my CS1 course this semester... I'm trying not to take it personally. ;-)
